3 Device Permissions Requested

The Infoage Student App strictly requests only the minimal Android system permissions required for core functions:

  • android.permission.INTERNET: Required to establish encrypted HTTPS communication with our academic server at https://infoagesas.com to fetch attendance records, fee status, and schedule updates.
  • android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used solely to detect whether an active internet connection is present, allowing the app to smoothly toggle between live synchronization and offline viewing mode.
  • Telephone Dialer (ACTION_DIAL): Allows the student to initiate a direct telephone call to their assigned faculty coordinator by tapping the call button. The app does not access your call history, private contacts, or place unauthorized calls.
✅ No Sensitive Device Access: The app does not request access to your device camera, microphone, GPS location, SMS inbox, photo library, or biometric sensors.

4 How We Use Your Information

We use student information solely for legitimate educational and institutional administration purposes:

  • Authenticating student identity via secure registration number and credentials.
  • Displaying customized batch schedules (slot times, weekdays, and commencement dates).
  • Maintaining accurate daily attendance records for course eligibility.
  • Presenting itemized fee payment schedules, due dates, and verified payment receipts.
  • Processing course break leaves, batch allotment changes, and placement cell registrations.
  • Monitoring teaching effectiveness through student daily faculty reviews.

5 Data Sharing & Third-Party Disclosure

We value student privacy and follow a strict zero-monetization policy:

  • No Commercial Sale: We never sell, rent, trade, or monetize your personal details or contact information to third-party advertisers or brokers.
  • No Third-Party Ad Networks: The application does not integrate Google AdMob, Unity Ads, Facebook Audience Network, or any behavioral tracking software.
  • Authorized Center Faculty: Information is only accessible to authorized center administrators, teachers, and coordinators responsible for your course.
  • Legal Obligations: We may disclose information only if required by applicable law, court order, or governmental authorities.

6 Data Security & Storage

We employ robust technical and organizational safeguards to ensure student data is protected against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration:

🔒 End-to-End Encryption in Transit All network communications between the mobile application and our servers are encrypted using modern Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS). Plain HTTP data transmission is strictly blocked.
  • Session Security: Access to the student portal uses cryptographically signed session tokens (HMAC/Bearer tokens) rather than sending raw passwords on each request.
  • Access Restrictions: Database servers are located in access-controlled data centers with automated firewall rules and continuous monitoring.

7 Offline Data Caching

To ensure students can view their batch schedule, assigned faculty details, and recent fee summary during network outages, the app stores a cached copy of the latest profile data in protected local Android application storage (Private Shared Preferences). This cached data is accessible only by the Infoage Student App and is immediately purged upon tapping Log Out.

8 Account & Data Deletion Requests

In accordance with Google Play's User Data and Account Deletion policy, students have the right to request the deletion or rectification of their account and associated personal data.

How to submit a data deletion request:
  1. Send an email to support@infoagesas.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request - Student Account".
  2. Include your registered Full Name, Registration Number, and Registered Mobile Number.
  3. Alternatively, visit your enrolled Infoage study center and submit a written account deactivation request to the center administrative officer.

Upon identity verification, your active mobile access and non-essential personal information will be deactivated within 14 business days. Official examination results and fee audit ledgers may be retained for statutory and certification compliance.

9 Children & Student Privacy

Our courses cater to academic and professional students (typically aged 13 and above). For students under 18 years of age, registration is completed with parental or guardian consent at the educational center. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental/guardian authorization.
